The administrative methods used by some of the leaders of the Muslim Empires hurt their ability to rise to world dominance because it only helped crash their efforts of ever building an empire that would last. For example, due to the fratricide of the sons, the empire wouldn't be its best because their ablest has gone. The empire would be run by an inexperienced son. This can harm the Empire because you need a great leader to run an entire empire and to lead people. This goes to both the Ottoman Empire, and the Savid empire because of the influenced mistake. In the Mughal Empire, Aurangzeb was a master at military strategies, unfortunately that was his only care. he devoted all his time to come up with military stratigies instead of caring for the empire. Because of that, his subjects were disloyal to him. He was not loved because he outraged the Hindus by forcing islamic ways onto people, reinforcing the tax on non-Muslims. Aurangzeb drained out the empire’s resources, and because of that, and his focus on war and defeat, 2 million people have died while he was waging war. His own people have been disloyal to him and he had almost to none subjects to him left. He gained their hate and they eventually assassinated and murdered him. By the end of this period, all was left of the empire was a wealthy figurehead.
